Consumer Credit Rights

You have significant rights under federal law. We want you to know them before you work with anyone, including us.

You can do this yourself, for free

You have the right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information in your credit report yourself, directly with the credit bureaus, at no charge. You are not required to hire a credit repair organization.

Free access to your credit reports

You are entitled to free copies of your credit report from each nationwide credit bureau through the federally authorized source, AnnualCreditReport.com. You may also be entitled to a free report after an adverse action, or if you are unemployed, on public assistance, or believe you are a victim of fraud.

Bureaus must investigate disputes

When you dispute information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete, the credit bureau generally must investigate and respond, typically within 30 days, and must correct or delete information that is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable.

Accurate negative information stays

Accurate and current negative information generally may remain on your credit report for the period allowed by law and cannot be removed simply because it is unwanted. No company can lawfully promise to delete accurate, timely information.

Your rights under the Credit Repair Organizations Act

A credit repair organization may not make untrue or misleading statements, may not advise you to misrepresent information to a bureau or creditor, and may not charge or receive payment before the promised services are fully performed.

You must receive a written contract and a separate written statement of your rights before signing, and you have three business days to cancel without penalty. You may sue a credit repair organization that violates the Act, and you may report concerns to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau or your state attorney general.

Your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) gives you the right to know what is in your credit file, to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information, and to have credit bureaus investigate and correct or delete information that cannot be verified. It also limits who may access your report and how long most negative information may be reported.

Our commitment to telemarketing laws

Gulfline Credit complies with applicable federal telemarketing laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). We do not make unsolicited sales calls or send unsolicited marketing texts. You choose to contact us first — typically by messaging us on Instagram — and we respond to you from there. Consistent with the TSR, we do not request or receive payment for credit repair services before those services are fully performed when they are sold through telemarketing.

How Gulfline Credit fits in

We operate in accordance with the FCRA, the Credit Repair Organizations Act, and applicable telemarketing laws. We provide review, strategy, preparation, and follow-up so the process is easier to manage — not outcomes we cannot control. Individual results vary, and no specific score increase or item deletion is guaranteed.
